This is a waterproof enclosure – simply place the ESPy Spa within it and attach it to the included RJ-45 network cable, and screw the enclosure shut. Use some screws (not supplied) to mount it within your spa pool, and connect the other end of the cable to your spa pool enclosure (more details on connecting available here).
Note that this enclosure has two openings for cables – one at the top, and one at the bottom. Most commonly you’ll only need one of the openings, so one of the openings has had the gland insert replaced with a fatter kind, to ensure that there is less chance of water entering the enclosure (but two of both the thin and fat glands are included with the enclosure, so you can change as necessary). It is recommended that this be mounted inside your spa pool on the internal frame of the pool. That helps to protect both the enclosure as well as its contents.
Important Note: Due to the size of the openings in this enclosure, the RJ-45 cable is included with the enclosure, and without cutting the connector off, you will have a very hard time taking the cable out. Getting the RJ-45 cable in place is difficult enough, and results in a two small cuts being made by me before I ship the cable to you. If you want the enclosure, but do not want the cable, please let me know in the order.
